The Techmotive Customer Portal

The customer portal streamlines how collision centers and auto shops interact with Techmotive to submit work requests, manage estimates, receive invoices, and track job statuses.

Work Request Submission

Collision center personnel are invited to join the Techmotive customer portal to submit work requests for vehicle services. For tracking purposes, you’ll be prompted to provide basic information, such as a repair order and vehicle identification number. Once this information is submitted, you can upload reports and images of the vehicle for specific repair issues and provide details to create a work request to be processed by a Techmotive technician.

Work Request Processing

Once Techmotive receives a work request, a technician and service writer will begin working together by reviewing the request and converting it into a job. Updates are relayed via the customer portal in real-time, giving you complete visibility into the workflows. You will be able to view your pending requests, jobs in progress, and completed work in the portal dashboard.

Estimate Request Workflow

Estimate requests often require insurance company pre-approval before a job can commence. Simply submit the request and specify the type of job, such as a pre-scan, alignment, or glass removal. Once we receive the estimate request, the service writer will process it and upload it to the estimates tab in the portal for easy access. You then review pricing, recommendations, and parts needed before giving approval for us to proceed with the work.

Job Execution, Invoicing, and Payment

After you review and approve the work request, we begin servicing the vehicle repairs, and the job progress is reflected in the portal. You will receive a notification when the invoice is ready, along with a unique link to directly access your portal. There, you can download invoices and inspection reports, or view alignment sheets, as well as any other supporting documentation. Additionally, you can securely submit payments directly within the portal, where discounts are automatically applied to reduce errors and save you time.
